Prevention Membership
Prevention sessions can be really effective when it comes to reducing the risk of pain and injury. We often see clients who have undergone treatment for an issue, who want to maintain the improvements they have made. Whether it be mobility, strength, or function the prevention sessions can be the perfect way of continuing to progress. These sessions are perfect for those of all ages and lifestyles.
Who is this suitable for: The answer is everyone.
For the older generation, there is often the thought that the pain they get is just a part of that time in their life. However, at HutchTherapy we work to help improve function, improve strength and reduce pain; allowing a greater quality of life and the ability to continue doing the things they love.
For athletes or those who are active it can be the perfect way to stay injury free, whether it's maintaining the body or conditioning the muscles to provide support. We will look at the optimal way to improve performance and reduce risk of injury.
For the general population, it can be an effective way to stay on top of any postural issues they might have or fears of future injuries.
How it works
To start working with HutchTherapy doing prevention sessions, you will undergo a 20 minute initial consultation ( in person or via mobile) where we will assess your needs. This will then be used to develop a plan and goals to work towards. Following this you will choose from a range of membership options.

Post-Surgery Rehab
With surgery it can often be daunting and difficult to get back to pre - injury/pain levels of activity. At HutchTherapy we have worked with a range of clients struggling after undergoing surgery, from knee replacements to rotator cuff repair. The return to physical activity whether it be something as simple as walking to the shops or getting back to rugby, can be both physically and mentally demanding.
With any post surgery Rehab, clients will have a 30 minute consultation call where we will talk about where you are at and how we can get you where you want to be. After undergoing a 60 minute in person assessment a rehab protocol will be put introduced, focused on reaching your goals.
